Objective: The objective of this lab is to verify wether our theory concerning LRC circuits agrees with experimental measurements. Theory: Since the capacitive inductance is given by Xc=1/WC and the inductive inductance is given by Xl=WL, we expect that at resonance, the point where Xc=Xl, we will have W^2 = 1/CL. At resonance the voltage accross the resistor will be at a maximum and the power dissipated by the resistor will also be at a maximum. The voltage accross the resistor as a function of frequency will be: Vr/Vt = R/SQRT(R^2 + (WL - 1/WC)^2) where R is the resistance, C the capacitance and L the inductance.
