Bijan Soleymani		Letter of Intent

i have always had an interest in technology. I follow the latest developments

in computers and the internet. In school my favorite subjects are 

mathematics and physics. I also have a personal interest in computer 

programming. This is why i chose to apply in electrical engineering. For the

past few years I have worked outside of school. I have worked at 

PSQ Technologies as a technical consultant and have also done tutoring in 

math, physics and English. I believe that the  work I have done outside of

school has helped me gain valuable experience. In addition, my tutoring 

work has often complemented my schoolwork.


In applying to the co-op program I hope to be able to continue studying my 

favorite subjects, math, physics and computer programming, while being 

able to apply my knowledge to relevant work in my own field. In this 

way I can gain technical experience in my field and earn an income at the 

same time. Rather than spend my summers doing work unrelated to my program, I 

would be able to develop skills that would be of use to me down the road.
